If your passport is lost, stolen or destroyed, we can help you replace it. Processing time for replacement of a passport is 7 working days. Please submit the following documents to the High Commission to start processing.

• Letter addressed to the High Commission requesting a replacement of the passport

• Passport application form (IM 01)

• Passport Application form duly filled - Passport application information form for Maldivians abroad (IM 32)

• Identity Card of the applicant

• Digital and printed passport size photo according to specifications in the passport application form

• Police report from the nearest Police Station stating that the passport is lost, stolen or destroyed

• An English translation of the police report.

• Duly filled Collection and Payment Letter Abroad form
