If your passport has expired or needs to be renewed, we can assist in the process. Processing time for passport renewal is seven working days. Please submit the following documents to the High Commission to start the renewal process.

• Letter addressed to the High Commission requesting renewal of the passport

• Passport application form (IM 01)

• Passport application information form for Maldivians abroad (IM 32) duly filled

• Identity Card of the applicant

• Digital passport size photo as required in the passport application form

• Duly filled Collection and Payment Letter Abroad form

Maldives Immigration Passport Portal - Imuga

Dhivehi Passport portal Imuga at Maldives Immigration enables citizens to apply for the passport from home, at their own convenience (while you are in Maldives). Additionally, this portal will assist citizens to pay for their passport digitally. Applicant will receive the notification when the passport is ready for collection.
